ABOUT IWCW
A Dirty Rhodes Production
Founded by NWA and AWA Super Star Roger Smith, formerly known as Dirty Rhodes as well as one half of the tag team The Assassins. Dirty Rhodes is a well-known legend in the Memphis Wrestling and international scenes. During his three world tours, he wrestled in many locations on the globe, including Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Barbados, and Pakistan. He is even a proud winner of the Crowbar Award, which is only given to five people in the business. His accolades include many titles, including:
• 5-Time AWA World Champion
• 5-Time NWA Champion
• Tennessee Hall of Fame
• Mid-American Champion
• 3rd Army Champion
• NE Canadian Champion
Today, he is proud to be a high school wrestling coach. He has coached the West Virginia team at the Fargo National Championships. In the coming year, he is very excited to be up for admittance into the Hall of Fame.
Our Goal Within the Professional Wrestling Industry
We give tough competitors from the independent wrestling world the chance to be seen. We strive to put a spotlight on those who are otherwise underutilized, under rated, or unappreciated. We do this for the love of the people on the road, putting their bodies on the line, day in and day out, all over this great nation. From all walks of life, male or female, a tough wrestler is a tough wrestler, and we want you to be acknowledged.
How Our Goals Will Be Achieved
We are currently promoting spectacular live professional wrestling events under the IWCW name throughout West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Every live event will be televised in parts to make a one hour show. They will be broadcast every Sunday from 12 noon to 1:00pm on the CW affiliate station WVVA, channel 6 in Bluefield, WV.
It takes fans of wrestling and wrestlers alike, with passion, to help keep this great sport alive and well. With your help, whoever you are, you will be guaranteed to be a part of the largest independent wrestling company in America.
